I would not go more than 3.73 with a 03/04 unless it is a track only car running 28" slicks.....

Just drove the SVT to Myrtle Beach today from New Hampshire with my newly installed 4:10's. I averaged 72mph/2350 rpm and gas mpg averaged 23.1.

I will say these gears allow for not having to down shift very often, at various times I had to slow to 25/30 mph I'd just leave in 6th. Very nice not having to down shift, unless you want to, then hold on with all that low end torque.

I was concerned running it stock for a day would hurt it, so that's cool. Doesn't seem like theres much to worry about

I have BFGoodrich Drag radials, 315's and they will not loose traction, unless I would dump the clutch, but I don't believe in terminal abuse.

Put in first, ease into it, then bring it right up to 6500, then the same for 2,3, haven't tried fourth, don't need any speeding tickets.
