Hey mike, I went through all the same things when I procharged my 99 cobra. You can datalog your fuel pump duty cycle and see how close you are to pegging it. If you have a little room, I wouldn't make any changes. Otherwise, I would either add the BAP or upgrade to the 03 Cobra fuel tank and pumps. I tried the SVT Focus fuel pump route, and it is garbage!! A HUGE wast of time and money. I installed it before having my car tuned. It was still close to 100% duty cycle. I then added a BAP. Duty cycle was then good but I developed the "shift hesitation". I did the pprv delete to mitigate the problem to no avail. I then bought the 03 cobra tank and pumps. This cured all my problems. If you do decide to go the BAP route, I would recommend the 40amp. I called KB, and they said the 40amp is for 255lph pump and over. This would at least leave room for growth.
