I went to DMV today, she's road legal again. I got an appointment for inspection tomorrow.:headbang:

Just got off the phone with MMR. My heads were being machined and will ship at the end of the week. Seeing everything goes in separate boxes, they said they'd ship the other parts of my order today.:rock:

So my intake, tuner, timing chain & guides and header gaskets should have a tracking # by the time I get out of work in the morning. Still won't be able to do anything without the heads. But at least I'll have 99% of my parts here.:awesomework:

As of right now the complete motor is bone stock, so 215hp at the crank right.:(

Just the exhaust work done last winter. I'm thinking I should be around 280-290hp afterward.

1st time I've ordered threw them. Seen the articles in FF&MM mag. Checked out their site (http://www.modularmustangracing.com/) for awhile. Was going to buy forged, stroked short block but couldn't sell the idea to the other half.

My order has been in since 3/10. Been a week, but all parts are machined after an order is placed so a week isn't terrible.

Been out driving the car the last 2 days. It gorgeous out today. Car passed inspection, no problems. So anyone in need of MIL eliminators. Save yourself some cash and make your own ( http://newyorkmustangs.com/forums/how-to-make-mil-eliminators-your-mustang-t4015.html ). They work great, cost me $6 at radio shack.


I'm a little disappointed with MMR. I still don't have tracking #'s so I called today to see if part of my order shipped. The dude seemed pissed that I called back so soon, stating that I was told just yesterday when stuff would ship and that half the order was shipped. I said that I never received tr#'s and that was why I was calling. He said they were too busy to send out tr#'s. WTF, TOO BUSY.

I'm not sure about you guys but I'd like to know where $2600 worth of parts are and when I should expect the shit at my door. Now I just guess at what day I should be here for the delivery. I've never ordered anything on-line and didn't get a tr# when it shipped. :thumbsdown:

lucky u! i still havent got my car back from the shop, i hope i get it tom so i can enjoy my last day off lol

I got my intake and SCT X3 tuner today. The heads are due back from the porters tomorrow or Monday. They said they will ship them and my gasket and timing set then.

I had a slight issue with the intake. AM sells the PI intake for $195, but that's just the intake. MMR sells it for $299, but the pic shows a wiring harness, gaskets, and alt bracket ...



All I got was the intake.:thumbsdown:

I talked to MMR and it seems someone screwed up. I was told that everything else will be included in my final shipment.

Well here it is almost a month later and no heads yet.:nono:

It wouldn't be so bad if they didn't keep telling me "by the end of the week" or "the middle of next week".

Anyhoo, I've been burning up some gas so that helps. Weather has been great. I got my ss inserts in, I still don't want to do anything with the front until after I pull the motor. I wish I was off today, I'd be burning up more gas.:D

He said he was going to check the shipping dept to see what the hold up is. He told me that they got back all their heads so he was going to try to get them shipped yesterday. We'll see. :idk:

My heads finally shipped. They're due to arrive on the 14th. Which works out great for me.

I have Sat, Sun, Mon off from work. I'm on Tues & Wed then off Thurs-Fri. Car's going under the wrench Saturday morning. After the weekend I should be all set for the heads. With any luck she'll go right back in Th & Fri. I go back on midnights next weekend so I got most of next Sat if I need it.

I'm just psyched to be able to start something that I thought would have been done before I took it out this year. :rock:

Without a doubt.

I see you got yours back from the shop. I had my 3.73's since last spring, never got them in.:nono: F'in Quaker Ford told my $700 for just the install. I've been hesitant to do them myself, but the time has come. They've got to go in.


How's that cruise to Bear Mt sounding? Just as long as it doesn't rain, I'm game.

Hey I would LOVE to do that also! If the weather permits....The only thing is that more members from that way made it seem like If were gonna cruse there we might want to wait till in the season more so it is the full show!:idk:
I told Brett I would start a thread and maybe more members that are somewhat local to us would also want to make the trip! I still gonna try to look into it!
And yes 700 for the gears is CRAZY I didn't pay that much and had a decent list of other stuff I got done at the same time..
