I spent a couple hours after class today getting the roof all done. Its all ready for primer now.

hammered out the dings on the door and applied the filler to the quarter, tomorrow ill block it all.

I spent about 6 hours today on the rear quarter, minus the front fender this was the hardest part of the car yet, it was very warped from the new quarter being put on. Im pleased with the final result tho.

not yet, once I get the hood and taillight panel on ill take some

put both quarters in rattle can primer today so I can start going over everything with 180 and getting all of the pinholes and deeper scratches out, then once i put primer on it at the bodyshop all I will have to do is wetsand that to get it ready for paint.

since the doors only had very minor imperfections i blocked those with 80 grit, went over everything with icing to fill in any pin holes and then hit everything with 180 and primer.

yea the car is super straight, the front fenders arent even completely bolted on, they only have 2 bolts on each side.

got some goodies today from CJ pony parts. The part I really needed the gas cap is on backorder till next week so I hope that comes soon, so i can build the gas cap recess

non cut out rear valence & mounting kit

light tension hood springs and shelby hood pin brackets

dash pad trim and a pillar pads.

Since my hood didnt come today, I figured I might as well put the rear lower valence on. I figured it would take 20 minutes, wrong. I ended up having to move the brackets and re weld them so the valence would sit flush on the body.

I was supposed to get my taillight panel in the mail yesterday, I called the place and they said its gonna be another 2 weeks. I was supposed to have my hood today..... nothing hopefully that comes monday. The front lower valence I ordered a month ago, who knows when that's gonna be here.

That really sucks. I know what it's like to deal with companies that are slow (but not a month!!!:nono or send you the wrong stuff.
