well i cant do anything else without a BAP, MAF, and injectors so i need to know what to get and where is the bast place to get them...


I just found out I have a stage 4 Ported blower from Steig so that means I can get the TB and plemun either aftermarket or ported... Im not sure which is the best way to go but im sure some of you have more experience with this than I do..

I also want to add that whatever i get needs to be compadible for a future setup.. I dont want to have to do things twice.. I plan to get a Whipple someday and I want to make sure itll all work with that!!

Honestly, I would put in a good fuel system the first time. I went with the BAP, 60lb injectors and my pump duty cycle is 98% (20lb boost w/Torco). The BAP would be fine for your current set-up and also would handle the future Whipple upgrade to a degree. Every car is different, you may be close to maxing out the stock pumps + BAP at around 600hp and another car can push it over 650hp. You know after you have that Whipple for a year or two your going to want to throw a 50 or 75shot on it...be ready for it. The fuel system is a bit pricey though....

im definitley foing to go to MM ad run on the dyno BEFORE making any performance enhancing mods BUT i know myself and i would like to plan accordingly. If i can buy one thing / month and plan it accordingly it wont be so much of a hit when i buy the s/c..

but dont I need injectors if i get a BAP? my injectors have to be maxex out... and if i have them both dont I need the MAF?

No, not necessarily!! ...Your not going to know what the cycle duty of the injectors are until you get on the dyno! ...Plenty on guys run the stock injectors with a BAP

...BAP will put your fuel pumps on steroids!

ohh, i was under the impression that you had to replace the injectors and he BAP at the same time.. What would be the point of pushing more fuel to the injectors if the injectors are maxed out already and cant deliver more fuel? Know what I mean?

Yes, that will work. It is an older version of SCT MAF, the new ones are the BA-2600(700hp) and BA-3000(825hp) and include an aluminum housing as opposed to the BA-2800 plastic housing. I'm not sure if they still sell the BA-2800 new, though you could probably get a good deal on a used one. Some also go with the Diablosport MAF.ia. It ties into the stock harness, uses the stock housing and is only $160. Your tuner will recalibrate the stock meter using the MAF.ia and it's good to 825hp. I went with the BA-2600, I wanted the aluminum housing. Any of these will work though and you should be able to find any of the above used, for a good price...

If you are going Whipple down the road fuel system wise. Stock pumps, dual fpdm's, 40 amp Bap and 60lb injectors you will be good. If you need anything just PM me we offer full dyno/tuning and parts for all your needs.

The older black plastic ones are actually better, more repeatable and were made by Granatelli for SCT.

The MAF will peg out before your fuel system does really and thats one of the 1st things I'd be doing if it was me. Most of the Lightning/Cobra guys that pop motors peg there meters in cold weather.

Bro u can find 60's/BA2400 and a Bap should you choose to go that route on svtperformance...thats really all that site is good for. I got my 60's cleaned and flowed before i installed them. The BA 2800 is good too...inj with the harness' go for $300 and a meter will be about $200....i would rather see you skip the bap and do a wiring upgrade/modded FPDM/GT pumps/fore fuel hat..best damn combo for hp from 6-700hp...exactly to a T what i have..kinda pricey but in the long run you will be happy you did the good stuff first time around. if you need anything just let me know.
