what gear ratio to go with ?

If its built for top end I wouldnt go with 4.10's.
4.10's are good for low end but suck for top end.
I know my car ran out of steam at the top end of the track with the 4.10's. Even on the highway they seemed to have slowed the car down a bit. It only goes about 120 on the highway now and before it seemed like it would go faster with the stock 2.73's and AOD. Now its got a t5 and 4.10's.
I would go with 3.73's.

If its buit for top end then it needs help on the low end hence the higher ratio. If the car is making power at high RPM's than it needs be at the top of that RPM range while while shifting and going through the traps. With a lower ratio the engine will not get up to the rpm range and will be the same as short shifting.
Very well said. This is exactly why you want to go at least 4.10's. If you want to go further and optimize the gearing for the quarter mile, you can determine the approximate MPH you will get from the HP your motor makes. Then using tire size, MPH, tranny ratio of 1.0 for 4th gear, and the RPM redline, you can calculate the rear gear.
As an example:
* motor HP = 350
* tire size = 26"
* motor redline = 6000RPM
* tranny ratio = 1.0 (4th)
* race weight = 3500lbs
equals rear gear ratio of 4.30 crossing the traps at 108MPH at the engine redline.

i say 410's as well..
373's or 4.10's
With 4.10's in my old Procharged 99GT I found it too much for enjoyment around town, you were CONSTANTLY shifting, I mean like every got dam second. (eventually I just started taking off in 2nd gear)
But with the Auto and OD I think 4.10's would be perfect
