I wouldn't want to hurt your feelings, I could put a whipple or a roush TVS on my baby and put anywhere from 450-500rwhp on about 6-9lbs of boost...
Anything more than 500rwhp and the rods have a very very good chance of breaking

and yes new edges are older but Im just sayin .....For how much more your S197 cost it really Dose Not have to much more power!

And once again with the cost, you can't compare buying a used 6+ year old car(last year of new edge) that has a all around weaker platform to much much better all around platform car that is much newer.
only one issue here. There is a big difference bettween could and is. so get that bad boy built up. just for your info though, I met a guy in cali that was pushing 10lbs on his whipple and i was laying down higher numbers. It was a sweet car and I am assuming his tuner was being conservative cause he may have had stock internals. Whipples are sweet though.
You came in here talking about a blown and built 2v vs a stock block bolt-on GT and the 2v winning, of course, the 2v(yours) is built and blown, my car isn't. What I was trying to make a point of is that mod for mod a 2v will lose, and when blown, a 3v only needs half the boost that the 2v does to make the same power.
I'm not saying your car is slow by any means, I wouldn't know.
I was throwing out average numbers for blown S197's. Yes, at 13-15psi they can put anywhere from 520-540rwhp, I know. But pushing that power on a stock block, it will fail sometime.
So don't take anything that I'm saying as disrespect towards the 2v, its just the way it is.
Its called a disscussion, I'm not trying to hate on the 2v's but honestly mod for mod against the 3v, you will lose. 3v's react so much better to boost, cams, and heads than 2vs do. Have you ever seen a stock bore and stroke 2v put out 375rwhp N/A?
