You think it would be cheaper to put the Supra motor in? Bullshit, you would need some serious modification to get that in there...Glad to hear you went with the 351.

Yes, it's good to rebuild...but you still want forged internals if you plan on running a decent amount of boost, otherwise it's a ticking time bomb....

Yep, I'm pretty sure you could put a good h/c/i on like previously mentioned and have one helluva car. Or it you want more power, why not just bore and stroke the 351 to a 408 then. In my opinion you should just start out with rebuilding the 351 and seeing how you like it. Is there a reason why you want you're car turbo'd? And the T5 is not going to last very long behind a 351, unless its has astro gears.

Well the T5 might hold up if you take a easy on it. A few guys on other forums have had their stock T5 go 11's without any problems, but some guys do some mods and their T5 takes a shit. :idk: It was the luck of the draw on a few of them. I'm kinda in the same boat you're in, I'm in college and can't afford to do a lot of things yet. I'm restoring it here and there and don't plan on doing any serious work to the engine until the suspension is up to snuff. All that power is going to do you no good if you can't put it to the ground successfully. Do you have a 302 just to stick in it for now to get it on the road?

ill be hit for this but my mustang is not my daily driver that duty is up to my camaro and ill be going to ohio tech this october for classic car restoration and custom paint and graphics and 30,000 kinda hurts but its gotta be done
