Free PI intake manifold

i went to my shop to get my rotors resurfaced and put the new pads up front. I found a PI intake in a cardboard box, i asked the mechanic if i can buy it, and the mechanic who took it off the linkoln said that it was only leaking from under the gasket, but the guy decided to change the whole intake since the car was on warranty anyway. I asked his boss about the price and he said that it's garbage and they won't use it on anything. The mechanic told me to just take it for free since it's "garbage". Either way, even if it leaks, i got it for free. Now i need a conversion kit and i'm set

Freebees are the BEST! Good eyes and a cool shop most places wont even let you take dirt off there floor without paying them something. LOL

if you do that swap with some cams ull be in 270s to 280 range easy!!!

about a months ago i saw a motor from a towncar(PI Heads, cams intake) i came back 2 days later to ask if i can have it, found out that they sold it the same morning i came to them, $30 and some guy from metal scrub picked it up. i was so pissed, especially that the heads were in good condition, the motor threw a rod, had over 400k miles on it.

Damnn ... u can get 1 for like 70 buck at a junk yard ..don't stress it

i never seen one on a junk yard, plus this one has an aluminum crossover

And I forgot to tell u ...the radiator is perfect still no problems

that's awesome numbers, I'm going to get dynoed on the 24th (not dyno tuned ) I was wondering where in upstate NY can I get tuned? I know mustang magic, but they are in NYC... and Potsdam is way up near Canada.

hey man if that intake doesnt work out for you i have a 2002 pi intake with alluminum cross over for 50 bucks
