Hey guys, was just introduced to this site by my Ford friend. Seems like a pretty cool place with some fast cars. I drive what would be referred to the "dark side" by you guys... 1999 T/A WS6.

Currently my mods are a bit on the weak side: Air Lid, Borla catback, short shifter, and that's pretty much it for performance. I currently have an LS6 manifold waiting to be installed.

I'll just post what most people probably want, PICTURES!

I live off of exit 44 on the LIE for about a year now, but I'm usually in queens every weekend because all my friends are there. So, it may have been me? lol. Where exactly in queens was it?

I don't remember being around there about a month ago, but it may have been me... never know, lol... Either way, I like my exhaust tone, but it's gonna be changed to Long tubes and true duals soon :rock::rock:

It was very deep and loud ! I was parked on the side, messing around with my car, revving it for absolutely no reason and that car passed by and revved the hell out of it lol

I don't remember anything like that, but I would have probably done the same if I was in that situation. Can't have a Ford revving and not rev back. ;)

TBH, I was very close to buying an s197 mustang before I started looking into LS1s, oddly enough, due to my ford friend, lol.

Yeah but i had my stock exhaust back then.. i remember i did something to my intake and i was checking some stuff... so it wasn`t exactly for no reason lol

There's never no reason to rev your car as long as you have a nice sounding V8. :D I usually hit my throttle anytime I get under tunnels just to hear the nice deep echoes it makes, haha.


edit: or as long as it doesn't sound like a ricebox which are all too prevalent in nyc.

That's what I'm hoping for in the future. I'm currently planning to go longtubes -> true-dual x -> chambered mufflers. From all the videos and personal accounts that I've read, it should give me a menacing, loud, deep tone, with very little to no rasp.
