1998 Mustang GT *accident*

I'm trying to help friend sell his 1998 Mustang GT. The car is black exterior with a gray leather interior. The car has a 4.6 and a 5 speed. The car has no rust at all and the interior is excellent. The car has tinted windows, an off road x pipe, cold air intake, flowmaster exhaust, ford racing wires. The car has roughly 83k on it. The damage is in the front end, the car is excellent from the front doors back. The front fenders, hood and grill have damage, both airbags deployed, all glass is intact. Ouch, I bought my almost mint 98 GT with less miles for $3500..no damage..! It's going to be tough to get that much unless he parts it maybe. Because you have to buy new airbags for it in NYS in order for it to pass inspection. Clean title or salvage?

if the airbags are blown the title is going to be salvage and its going to need to be inspected at the station in elmsford ny

Not if it was never an insurance claim.

Youd just have to go out of state to buy airbags since NY junkyards cant sell them.
