Hey guys I just wanted a few pointers on how to properly ground the motor I was told to do it on the right head. But what do I ground it to?? Any Lil advice would help thx
I think you would want to ground the engine to the chassis and maybe the firewall. Make sure you clean the area where you attach the cables.Remember you cant have enough ground wires but if you have to little it causes problems.

So true. On my station car I lost the body ground which was attached to the battery tray (Duh! That is the first thing to rust out). Gauges, idiot light, radio and just about anything with a relay went erratic trying to get a good ground through the bolts to the rubber engine mounts. The check engine light did not go on and the car ran fine .
the way I have it:
0gauge from the engine mount (on the block side, of course) to the swaybar mounting bracket. Another 0guage wire from the sway bar mounting bracket to the battery.
You have a ground going from the driver cylinder head to the firewall, and the red wire in the injector harness also grounds to the head in the same place. This is the HEGO ground. Then the main ground from the battery goes to the block on the passenger side above oil pan.
