window wont move

ok so heres the deal my passenger window works only when it wants could this be the motor or electric it also closes very slowly

i'm having the same prob. and the d/s works better but still slow. i tried everything except replacing the motors, so i'd go w/ that. i replaced both door window switches, lubricated the tracks and motor gear and checked voltage up to the motor. all ok and none fixes it. i believe w/ age and corrosion the resistance in the motor increases and causes it to operate slowly.

Agreed. They do sell replacement contact brush kits to rebuild them.
Most aftermarket ones are garbage to begin with.
Sometimes it is nicer to have an original Ford piece that
works properly.
