I have a 99 GT and the tranny is starting to go on me. I am trying to decide if I am going to rebuild it or if I am going to swap it for a T-56. If I were to do the swap, what will I need. I will need the transmission and a new crossmember, but is there anything else that I need? Also I have a buddy that I might be able to get a T-56 from, but its in a Camaro, if I were to get that, what will I need to bolt it in, all I can think of is a new input shaft, a bell housing, and a new cross member. Is there anything else that I will need?
