SVT Raptors off roading it up & playing in the mud

I think the Raptor is one hell of a truck and it does seem to do quite well off road. I'd love to own one 
I just dont like the SVT badge on it and dont think it belongs there. To me SVT = Performance (as in it's FAST), amof some Lightning Vendors have already installed Superchargers on Raptors and then are trying to push them as the next Lightning

I saw one vid where it took 26-28 seconds to go 0-120 with the supercharger,
It was like watching a vid in slow motion, I was like WTF my L use to hit 140 in 1320 ft

NO those are everyday Joes. I'm this Raptor site. It is one of 3 cars I'm thinknig of getting next. When I give my Jeep Wrangler back in december. So I keep an eye out to see what problems come up with the truck. Other 2 cars are Ford F450 dually, or a Mercedes CLS 550.

Just the Cobra/Shelby, Lightning and GT500 were fast. 93 cobra and Lightning were not really fast cars. As more as all around fun cars. The 93-95 lightings came with a with a high-output V-8 based on the 5.8-liter, 351-cu.in. engine. This powerplant could produce 0-60 times of 7.2 seconds, 0-100 mph in 25.7 seconds and cover the quarter mile in 15.6 seconds at 87.4 mph.Also had 240hp at 4,200 rpm and 340-lbs.ft. of torque at 3,200 rpm The SVT raptor is pulling around the same times. *Just found some raptor 0-60 and 1/4 mile times. 0 - 60 (sec.) 8.4 and 1/4 mile (sec. @ mph) 16.2 @ 85.6.
What about other car that wear the SVT badages like Focus and Contour. They were not fast car. More suspension/brake upgrades. Also for a nich market. But The Raptor is off road BAJA truck. Yes Some people compared this to a lightning. Which you can't do. 2 different trucks. I think it's ok to have an SVT badge. Sometimes I wish they made the 3rd gen but the gen 3 lightning was maybe as fast as the gen 2. low 13 stock. except it would get less mileage, and be more expensive! why should we pay 10k more for a truck thats not faster? thats why they killed the program!
dodge lost millions on their srt 10, and it was not significantly faster than the gen 2 lightning!special vehicle team! thats what it stands for. do you see street light racing team in svt???
