Following the lead of Shelby, Galpin Auto Sports and others, Steeda has released a new widebody kit for the Mustang GT, Boss 302 and Shelby GT500. Making its official debut at the Woodward Dream Cruise back in August, the package includes front fenders that are six inches wider and rear fenders that add an extra seven inches as well as a redesigned front fascia, shaved door handles and a unique rear decklid. Steeda says that added width allows for 285 series tires up front and 335 series tires at the rear.
Of course, Steeda doesn’t want their widebody package to be all about aesthetics and also includes a number of suspension and powertrain improvements. Pricing isn’t mentioned, but the company says that they can custom tailor the conversions to their customers wants, needs and budgets.
