smog removal

hey i was wondering if anyone knows the exact size belt you need for removal of the smog on the 5.o i got rid of the a/c but i got the delete pulley and nobody at advace auto wants to take the time to figure it out.thanks guys

Belts with Power Steering Units
With stock pulleys or March set #1000 / 2000 / 2010 with smog pump
dayco belt #5060860. With March Set #1015 / 2015 with smog pump
dayco belt #5060850. With stock pulleys or March set #1000 / 2000 / 2010
without smog pump dayco belt #5060730. With March set #1015 / 2015
without smog pump dayco belt #5060720.
Belts without Power Steering Units use Dayco belt #5060590
When not using power steering remove brackets from the drivers side
cylinder head but leave stud for P/S in head. slide 5 1/2” spacer over
stud to space out A/C eliminator bracket properly

^^ +1 thats what I have done too. Just dont use string that stretches at all. I usually use wire.

same here withj the wire the easiest way to go is 5o resto has a off road accsarey kit pullys and shorter belt inclused for like $125 thats what im doin

My local autozone was lazy as all hell too. I asked them to order a special lenght, and they said they cant. Brought the string to napa, and they sized it up and off i was.

Try to bring it back mybe you will get somone that will know's what there doing.....or go to another store all they have do is match the string to the belt...
