Hey quick question fellas, I have an 04 GT that I was running a c.a.i. and borla exhaust on, no codes. I installed an off road x pipe, SCT tuner and a new throttle body/ intake. My tuner is handling the convertor codes but now I am throwing two lean codes. Is it that I need to put gasket sealer on the TB/ plenum seals?
Running lean?

Actually.. those mods should not warrant a tune. But if you're throwing those lean codes you're one of the lucky ones

I have heard nothing but bad things about American Muscle tunes - the GT I drove with one of their tunes felt like it was going to take a shit and die; just weird.... You don't need anything more than a box tune though... I have had good personal experiance with brenspeed.com, you could also bring it anywhere, pay a little bit more and have one customized with a dyno pull..

MAF Pegging wouldn't cause a 'lean' code. If his MAF is pegged with his mods.. he has more then the mods he listed.
When my MAF pegged in my Cobra.. the car didn't throw codes... just seized when I slammed it in upper gears because the MAF couldn't handle it. I also had a 2004 GT with full boltons... including headers and I wasn't close to being pegged...
