Reinstalling the Ford emblem on the front bumper

whats the easiest way to do it

I dont want to glue it on since thats how it seems the previous owners came off

it came with two thingys to screw it on to the bumper

do I have to take the whole bumper off?

I glued all of my emblems back on with windshield glue. Held on for 10 years and counting....

I've used double sided tape. You can always take it off w/ a hair dryer and fishing line. Real clean.

That is a thought. If you want to ever get the emblem off dont use windshield glue. It gives new meaning to the word PERMANENT.

I put on the side emblems , autozone had no clue about the windsheild glue

how difficult is it to remove the front bumper enough where I can do the emblem?

Windshield glue is similar to trim and molding glue. I have some if you need, if not any automotive paint store will have it.

well the side emblems are on I just want to do the ford emblem on the front

I have always used a good double sides tape by 3m, from the auto paint store.Also nice as you can remove it.

I second the recommendation of the 3M double stick tape it's very similar to what alot of manufacturers use to apply side body molding and logos. I used it on my Jeep to reattach a broken side marker light and it has held for over a year now. The windshield glue is a black urethane that you can get in tubes for a caulking gun from napa. If you use it it WILL be permanent but it can also be messy to work with and an absolute NIGHTMARE to get off of your hands. It runs about $15 a tube. I think the 3M tape is about half that.
