The 1968 Shelby GT500KR Convertible is one of the rarest Mustangs built with only 318 produced. This particular example is just one of 43 painted in Bright Yellow, and we have a feeling it will command top dollar when it crosses the block at Barrett-Jackson‘s auction later this month. Not only does the car still have its original engine, 4-speed transmission, body panels and interior, but it recently underwent a full rotisserie restoration by a Shelby specialist. Did we mention it only has 20,000 miles on the odometer?
We’ll have live photos of this Shelby GT500KR Convertible and many more Mustangs when Barrett-Jackson’s Scottsdale auction rolls around next week. Until then, check out the beautiful pictures of the car in the gallery below.
