Racing Converter question

I was wondering if theres anyone running a converter or have info on them.

I had to go back to 3.55 gears from 4.10s (Long story).
.
I'm trying to make up the difference I lost from the 4.10s

I improved about .3 to .4 tenths @ the track with the gears,

Id like to get to the same point with a Converter.. I'm hearing alot on the Mach1 Registry that even as a street car, I should not go any lower than a 3400 stall.


Second question is:

Will I need to get a tune for this?..... Is it a dyno tune or just adjustments made with my predator?..

What are the typical improvements people pickup with them ? At least .3 tenths on 1/8 mile?.

.I hearing that my 60ft will defiantly drop .2 tenths..

Anyways any help or advise would be great..

Converter's are like Black Magic, not everyone has the touch to build a good one. Just go with someone proven, like Ultimate Converter Concepts, TCI, Neal Chance....spend the money once.

I've changed converter's a couple different times, and it sucks not getting what you pay for.

Not sure about the tune deal, but anyone good with modular combinations should be able to help you in that department.

A good converter can definately help with a couple of tenth's.

I've recommended he call Ultimate Convertors twice. 1 post has been deleted and the other one about UCC has been edited. Mods just send me a PM if I'm doing something wrong. I'm trying to help and I don't like games.

B C automotive, They arent the cheapest , but provide a awesome quality converter, Darrin from B C auto is pretty famous from Mach1 registry.
Kennedys is doing the tune..
