put car on ramp on the rear tires and frame on stand on front of car
remove:
d/s from diff (i leave in on the tran side)
exhaust mid pipe
hood (in put blanket on top of car and lay hood on top)
raidator hoses
serpentine belt
top end (air filter to manifold)
ac compressor, p/s pump, and alt
wire harness
front tires
steering arm from rack to steering wheel
struts
calipers (tie up to car)
p/s lines to the rack and pinion
hook motor to cherry picker
put jack under trans
unbolt the 8 bolts for k-member
unbolt trans x-member
lower together
once lowered:
remove:
starter
hearders (if running long tubes)
un bolt motor mounts off k-member
take trans bolts out
slide trans off
jack motor up enough to clear k
pull k-member out
then lift motor strait out of the top.
thats what the steps i take if i can rember it all step by step. i just threw this list together really quick.
But the problem is that i have a KB on and the alternator was relocated. I could use the tranny bolts for the rear but where should i go to balance it in the front?

yeah I'll have to look, i believe there is a bracket there now holding two idler pulleys but that actually just gave me an idea, i could take those off and just put some bolts in there
Yes sir, haven't had any problems but it doesn't matter anymore because over the winter i am putting a forged bottom end in so i can turn up the boost.

^^ those things are a pain in the @$$ to put together. helped my dad with the one he bought. we ended up drilling and bolting most of the connections cuz it wasnt very strong
