We can remember the days of early cable television when 50 channels sounded like a lot. Now, not only are there hundreds of channels, but literally thousands of new shows every year. It seems like these days, there are more shows about cooking than there are about cars, and we’re hoping that will change soon. We think the Mustang would be the perfect star, but not in the same way it was the star of the terrible new Knight Rider. It should be a show about the people behind the iconic muscle car, people who have helped turn it into the legend it is.
Somebody must have been reading our Christmas wish list, as Mustangs Daily came across this trailer for American Pony Builders, which follows R&A Motorsports, an aftermarket Mustang builder and restorer. The shop is headed by Jeff Yergovich, a man who has been working exclusively on Mustangs for 35 years. It is hard to beat a pedigree like that, and over those almost four decades, he has had some of the cleanest, rarest, and most outlandish Mustangs come into and out of the shop. Something crazy-rare, like the only 1967 Shelby convertible ever made.
