This is my 1988 foxbody that some of you older members may recognize from a old member who originally started this car for a mile car. It is now mine and I got it as a rolling chasis and have been building it for 2 years.
This is how it began, a 150 dollar 351 Windsor we tore down and took to a shop that showed me how to build a engine. When I get home I'll post alot more pics from recently.
Now that the block was cleaned it was off to the shop to be machined and time for speed parts.
Afr 205cc cylinder heads.
Block back from the machine shop and bottom end installed.
Valve covers to go with the heads.

Engine after final assembly. All that power has to go through a trans, so I found a freshly rebuilt Tremec TKO 600 faceplated 2nd,3rd,and 4th gear.
Cant have a bare block so it was time for some paint.
That looks much better....
Engine installed next up the trans.
Used a stifflers trans mount and in she goes.
msd 6al 2 installed along with a blaster 2 coil.
Radiator with dual fans capable of 3500+ cfm.
traded the black 18" rims for something a little lighter and some sticky tires. Sense we all know fox body mustangs like to flex and break stuff it was time for some stiffening....maxium Motorsports subframes welded in and painted. Up next some upper and lower battle boxes....
uppers bolted and welded in place.
lowera installed as well. Rear axel is a 8.8 with welded tubes ,a mosier diff cover, 35 spline shafts and a spool with 4.56 gears(for now)
3" exhaust off the longtubes into 2 dynomax race bullets and turndowns.
exhaust hung, a little lower than I'd like but didn't have much of a choice.
I decided to go with sn95 front spindles from a 94 mustang and add powerstop drilled and slotted rotors with calipers and pads. Next up I have to install the strange manual brake kit with a proportioning valve and pressure switch for the tail lights. That should be here tomorrow and the. I can also finish wiring her up and she's ready to make some noise. Incase anyone is wondering I'm running a holley 850 carb.
