Problem JW if anyone has ever had this b4

All of a sudden this started the other day. When I turn the wheel of my 01 v6 to the left, the front passenger side wheel makes a grinding sound like metal on metal. I had the ball joints checked and there fiine. Dont really know what this could be. Any ideeas?

wheel bearing maybe? jack up the car, grab the wheel and move it side to side and up and down to see if there is play in it

Sounds like a wheel bearing. When driving at normal speed and you vere left and hear a noise, it's the right front bearing. When you turn left the car leans right and puts most of the turning force and weight on the right front wheel and will expose any weakness in it.

Hey man thanks for the tip that sounds exactly what my problem is. What do you think the difficulty of changing this out my self would be?
