Pinion bearing and stuff

Car has 50k has a leaky pinion seal mechanic fixed it now got tons of gear noise said we need to replace pinion bearing, any helpers on what else to replace planned on getting gears (373) as well should i rebuild the traction LOK as well? Have a 03 gt vert making a cruiser out of it thanks for all advice :)

Lots of people say do the traction LOK well tarring into it but I did 410s in my 00gt at the same miles and did not ... the manic told me if there is no issues with both tires spinning well launching/burnout to not worry about it with such low miles but it still does seem to make sense doing it well you're in there..in the end its on you...

The clutch packs are pretty cheap. Bearings are pretty cheap too i guess. Depends on what you feel comfortable with replacing.

Side note:
When the mechanic replaced the seal did he put in a new crush sleeve for the pinion? They are a one time torque sleeve as (you guessed it) they crush. The pinon nut doesn't require a ton of torque, only enough to create like 7 in*lbs of drag on the pinion itself. If he just put a new seal on and re-tightened the nut down then he could have very well damaged the pinion bearing... Only reason I say that is because this noise started after the seal replacement correct? Hopefully it wasn't tightened down enough to mess up the pinion to ring gear mesh. Else you may have a hard time reusing the gears. I'd get this done ASAP.

Thanks for response just getting back to forums ya I'm assuming he used new sleeve he said he took care of it as. Was his own?! Do trust him in a sence but can you really trust anyone?! :p
