oil pressure

Oil pressure.
I've had this problem for a while, not sure if its the oil pressure sending unit or something else i noticed that after the cars been driven for a bit and gets warmed up the oil pressure when its at low rpms is extemely low but thats according the gauge, which i really don't trust any of the gauges in the car. anyone have any ideas on what it could be. maybe the after market valve covers from pepboys arn't maintaining pressure, they are held on by t handles which loosen up to freaken easily. also has a second breather hole on opposite valve cover which i have a breather in. or maybe the sending unit is going bad.
Actually instead of making multiple post on issues im just gonna list them all here.

Steering issue
The next problem that has risen is there happens to be a ton of play and response in the steering it's reacting heavily to every little bump in the road not sure why.

Idle issue on start up
After its been driven for a bit just like the oil pressure issue, i noticed that if i turn it off then start it back up, the idle for a couple of seconds sounds like its gonna bog out, then it goes away.

Anyone have any ideas on what's causing these issues, please help be greatly appreciated.

oil pressure:
the only accurate way to determine oil pressure reading problems is to use a mechanical oil pressure gauge. Try to get one install it, and compare its readings to your dash gauge readings. It very well could be the sending unit, but you wont know for sure 'til you use a mechanical gauge or replace the sending unit with a known good one.
There is no oil pressure in the valve cover area so do not worry about them. Though if they are leaking a lot and your oil level goes down that can affect your oil pressure.
Steering:
could be worn balljoints, tie-rod ends, or bad steering shaft.
Idle:
could be a few things, but start by cleaning the maf and checking for vacuum leaks.

im gonna say the sending unit might be bad due to it not being replaced in about 4 years, i'll try and go to thicker oil if thats not the case cause its gonna need both soon anyways. valve covers do leak some but i do have replacement ones that are ment for the year that are going to be held down by bolts and a little bit of thread lock. i noticed that there is a pop when i go around a slow hard turn. actually noticed it today on my way to the college. probably gonna look into the tps and the iac sensors had a problem a couple years ago with the tps being loose and caused a similar problem. maybe its just gotten worn out over the years its been in the car.

Sounds like tierods to me, but it could be a combination of it all.
