Was the car an inline six? You are using a double sump pan correct? The only issues are when you use a k-member other than a 4cyl or v8 one.

^it actually lines right up im just trying to get it a little lower so i can still use my hood but thanks for being an ass about :) now go wack off to your v8

You can't just 'lower' it, steering is sort of like suspension in the sense that is it's designed with specific geometry that changing could be opening a whole can of worms that you probably wouldn't want to get into. I can't imagine you will get too much help on Mustang forums when it comes to putting a Toyota engine in one since that's quite and obscure swap that personally leaves me wondering why.

You can buy offset bushings from UPR and use a bumpsteer kit to correct the geometry.
I have the same stuff in my car and it goes straight as an arrow!

Edit: This is mine. I'ts only lowered a 1/4" but as long as the steering arms can be adjusted to stay parallel with the lower conteol arms you will have no geometry issues.

also if you switch to a manual rack such as EHA has you gain a little as well. if youre really in a bind I'm sure EHA or some others close to you can easily fab that pan to fit , I'd do it but I'm a bit far from you lol. oh and good for you for being different.

thank you EHA and stanginthe11s for the help i was actually wondering if a manual rack would be smaller. and that looks pretty sweet EHA where did you get the coil-overs?. and its actually a nissan four cylinder and im doing it because it has yet to be done and why the hell not! and gas prices suck just saying

I hear you on gas prices, they're only going to go up too. If you wanted a 4 cylinder though, it would have been a lot easier to turbo a 2.3...

Anything can be fit into any car with a little work and patience. If somebody thinks there is anything FORD in my race engine they are sadly mistaken. Just because it's designed after a Ford small block there is nothing actually FORD in my engine. The block is by Dart, Heads are Blue Thunders, As a matter of fact almost every part is custom made. The intake, crank, rods, pistons, cam, headers and convertor are specifically designed for my engine and my engine only. Don't tell anyone I'm running a chevy Powerglide for a transmission. Actually there isn't a stock Chevy part in that either, not even the case.
My rear gears are out of an explorer so I guess that still counts LOL.
