Need help with CAI/TB/Plenum Install

Hi! My name is JoAnn. First time Mustang owner, also first time forum member, still learning how to navigate here. I am looking forward to meeting fellow local mustang owners and getting more info on local meets.

Looking for a little advice. I made some exterior changes to my car on my own like headlights, fog lights, delete grill, etc. I had a mid pipe put on the car by my mechanic and he offered to help out with installing any additional mods, but where is the fun in that? I want to install the cold air intake, throttle body, and plenum that I bought, but I'm curious as to if I can really tackle this on my own? Is it fairly simple for a first timer if I follow directions. Don't want to get half way through and realize I can't do it. :idk:

If you did the headlights, foglights and delete grill, you can certainly do a cold air intake, throttle body and plenum. Everything just bolts into place of the old one. Just make sure you use new gaskets. Take pictures of how everything is hooked up now. Take your time and you shouldn't have a problem. I did mine and just made sure I hooked everything back up on the new one like the old one was hooked up. i am not sure if you will need a tune. maybe someone else on the forum can tell you that. Welcome. And you can ask questions if you get stuck, but as stated those mods are simple hand tool bolt ons. So you'll find out what a breeze it is to do once you get it done.

Thanks guys! I got concerned when I saw necessary tools like a feeler gauge and resetting the idle so I thought maybe it was a little more involved than I thought. I'm looking forward to having fun with it
