Need help new Plugs and Wires

so i burnt threw one of my plug wires and the car is all out of wack so i am putting new plugs and wires in tom and am not sure what gap i should use is the plugs themselves are .54 motorcraft plugs and wasn't sure if i should gap less or more ik that the stock gap is a .54 can i gap them more or less for a little more power and will i see a difference?

If n/a leave them at factory spec. No reason to lessen or increase the gap unless you have mods that require a certain gap.
