Need help identifying this part

I believe it might be called the chassis control box. I need to know what it is and what it does, and do I really need it. It is part # YR33-14B205-AB

Its your GEM or chassis computer, im not big into the later model cars, i would think you need it

Thanks for the reply. I'm trying to figure out what it actually does, since it is actually going into a fox. The car starts and moves without it...and I am in the process of doing the interior, just installed the carpet and can't go any further without some info.

If the car starts and runs fine. Its not the computer if you have efi. dash board and turn signal work? On the fox body the computer is located passenger side by foot of side wall. Also metal cover that computer. Could be an alarm system controller. If it is meant for a fox body.

My bad, should have been more specific on the application. It is out of a 04 GT and located on the driverside kick panel. The motor harness ect are being used in a fox. Just trying to figure out if I can do away with it.
