thnx for ur advice about maaco. i thought it would be only appropriate to post a few pics of my stang. note: its a centennial edition stand, emblems say '100th anniversary' and the decklid emblem is an ox over 'centennial edition'

so im not sure what mods to put yet, im still debating if the value goes down if i start adding aftermarket items on it. all is stock, only thing ive done is put some HIDs and an ipod connector. sadly it is an auto (cant have it all). enjoy

To start, exhaust, CAI, and gears. Nice vert, I'd leave the paint alone...it looks good!

thnx. as for the exhaust, im trying to find a nice rumbling sound. close to the stock, just a bit louder. im not into the nascar type exhaust sounds like borla. im thinking flowmaster? cai, im considering k&n? u guys think i should change gears for an auto as well? am i going to feel the difference? 3.73?

for you flowmaster would be good, as well as magnaflow and mac 2.5"

From what I hear a pro chamber mid pipe has a nice throaty sound.

For the gears, everyone says 4.10's for an auto or a stick that's staying na.
3.73's for a stick or anything that's running boost.


As far as devaluing the car with aftermarket mods .... you don't want to get rid of it anyways.

• K&N?

• 4.10 Ford Racing?

thnx guys. i was gonna make my way to stage 3 in the bronx to see what they can do for me today, but it looks like we gonna have some snow today. im most deff not drivin a stang in the snow!!

haha yah..i had BFG g-force sports on mine when i put the 3.73's in my car and after a few weeks i wasnt hooking up in 1st gear @ all...i'm prob going 275' Nitto 555r's for a semi drag radial and still decent street tire.

as far as devaluing the car, its a mustang. unless it is a rare special edition, its not holding any value. the more mods you have on it the more it will be worth if you ever try and sell it

if you want a great sounding setup do a bassani mid pipe with high flo cats and either borla or mac cat back they will both sound really nice, if its auto 410s if manual id say 373. maybe get some nice 18" rims for that and maybe a shift kit im not sure what they make for autos in that.

i guess ur right, im not sure if its qualified as a special edition. they only made 1,323 of these cars.

so i dont need to get sticky tires if im using it as a daily driver. i can throw those on when im dragin or for hard starts form 0 right?

ah yes, one more question AM seems to be out of the mach 1 grills, does any1 know of another site that sells them? also i am looking for a wider selection of headlights. i am search of a certain pair. i saw them on a blue stang about a year ago, they were darkened and where the turn signals are, they were chrome. the ones on AM arent the ones im looking for, im dyin to find em!!

well i guess it's in ur own personal wants...if i'm on the street u already know people are going 2 want 2 mess around from a light and without a sticky tire u wont b able 2 get on it without spinning badly:nono:..but idk with an auto and how u drive it..was just a suggestion because thats the route i'm going

that is so true, its already happening. i am looking at bfg drag radials. i was just putting off the tire purchases till its actually nice out any suggestion on the kind of tires? u think all 4 or just rear?
