Hello and welcome to the site. I think you're our first member with a Mustang 2? Nice group of cars you have there. So you had 8 at once at one point? Please explain,I'd like to hear about the other stangs you have owned as well. I think I have ads for Mustang 2's around here somewhere. I still remember the one "Mustang II ....Boredom zero " Good stuff.
haha, yeah-I had 8 Mustangs at one time. Became a little overwhelming so I had to let some go.
4 of them were Mustang II's. I still owned my first car which was a 1975 Mustang II Ghia until up to 2 years ago. I called her 'Mustang Sally'. I had realized she had succumbed to more cancer (rot) than I thought. I would buy another Mustang II to be a donor-but found the one I just bought was too nice to use as a donor so I kept it. Then I did it with another one, lol. The other Mustang II I was tring to restore was a 1978 King Cobra that someone gave back to me after I sold it to them. This was my secind Mustang. Poor thing was wrecked only months after he bought it from me and he was hoping I could salvage her. Car was still perfect from the door back but there was frame damage and it was beyond what I could do for her. I had to let this one go too. So I still had the '77 (which is the one I will hold onto) and the '78 Ghia coupe. I sold this one just a few years ago to a guy that still gives me updates on it:
I miss Raven sometimes. But as I said, gets overwhelming having so many cars. I also owned a '66 289ci coupe. That was 'Jane'. I sold her for I needed the money at the time. I do regret selling her but it was what i had to do, ya know:
I do have plans to buy a 50th Anniversary one
I say it will be my last, lol.
. In my lifetime I have owned 8 mustangs (at the same time too). I am now down to 3. My 03 GT that I can't stop modifying. My relatively stock 95 GT vert that is 1 of 36 made that year with Crystal White paint and Bright Red Leather interior. Then I have my Emerald Green 77 coupe for something different.
