mid pipe help

spring is here and im getting that itch to get an off road h or x pipe. i like the deep sounds of the h, but im limited to manufactures. pacesetters and mac is all i can really find for h pipes with stock shorties. i was always a fan of bbk... i know the x's are supposed to flow better, but i just dont like the raspiness of them. i have a flowmaster catback already on the car. ive been watching youtube clips all winter and i really cant make up my mind.. any suggestions?

If you still want to do an X-pipe, I would recommend either Bassani or Magnaflow. Very good fitment and quality from those two companies. I've had a Bassani X myself and loved it. I'm using American Racing longtubes now, so the Bassani X came out for an ARH catted X-pipe.

For the deep H-pipe sound, I've heard some good Mac Prochambers.

i just installed a bassani x and a mac catback. and i have to say, i LOVE it. so much so that im going to be getting cams just so i can hear it more while idle!!

If you have flows don't get an X pipe. Flows do not sound good with an X pipe unless you have LT headers or cams. If you ever decide to get rid of the flows then you can get an X.

If you plan to keep your flows, def go H pipe.

Keep in mind you can also get a prochamber and get that sound you're looking for
