i need my gt40p heads inspected and resurfaced any1 know a good shop with a price range that wont make me live in a card board house lol

Probably too much of a drive but I had Clifton Park Engine Rebuilders (Saratoga county) resurface my Windsor Sr's and do a valve job this summer and it was $350+ tax.

Thats the normal price range for that kind of work.

Some Napa's have a machine shop that will do heads too.

yea thats a little far for me but are the valves in gt40p heads same as the stock 5.o heads

I have 1 better but its also in the same area. I know the owner of Clifton Park Engine rebuilders (Rick Gorcka) and I will be honest they are good and they have good quality / service BUT

Steve did all the machine shop work on my 363 stroker and his son Keith did the porting and flowing on my TFS head's that i am currently making 800hp w/ 620 footlbs on a single stage to the tire. They do amazing work and do anything from stock to full race. Call Keith and tell him Jay ProfiveO told you to call him. Fast turn around and they go out of their way to do right so even if your not close its worth shipping your heads to them. When you get them back, i guarantee you its going to look like a piece of jewelry and you wont need to take a loan out for the job lol. 631 744 7370
