So, it's short notice, but once again we are doing a cruise down to Letchworth State Park at the end of August. It's a big cruise for the Buffalo group and the Rochester group (and anyone else) that meets up at about noon at the overlook at the dam at the top of Letchworth, and cruises down as a group to a shelter where we cook food and talk cars! I have reserved the shelter at the Trailside Lodge location which is just past Lower Falls on the right, when headed south. We've all been there several times and love that location because of the enclosed lodge and the huge, private parking lot with (virtually) no fear of door dings and stray baseballs. The Rochester group will meet at the Cracker Barrel on Hylan Dr at 390 at 830, eat, poke fun at each other, then drive to Batavia to meet up with the Buffalo group (hopefully) at about 1030. Then we all chat and leave to the north entrance of the park to get there at between 1130am and noon. Bring food, don't whine about the weather (this is NY), and have fun!!
