kenne bell or vortech help

so ive been recently in the market for a supercharger.I have a 93 lx 5.0 that has a stock block with full exhaust no cats,cobra intake with 65mm tb.Cold air fender intake with a 5 speed and 3:73 gears. I orinally was looking at the vortech v3 untill i heard all the talk about kenne bell. I found the 2.1 standard kit for the cobra intake that seems form the numbers it makes more horsepower than the v3 6-8 psi range. The kenne bell sounds like its easier to install with less hassle.Im looking to just street drive this car with the hopes to eat a vette now and then. What do you guys think would be my best bang for the buck. Any info would greatly appreciated-Adam

Not sure what the kenne bell would run you.But for 3k you can get a decent turbo setup.You will put down better numbers with less strain on the motor as opposed to a supercharger...Just my 02 good luck

I appreciate the input, so many options, leaning towards the kenne belll which is also 3000 for the standard which seems the install isnt all that bad.

one issue with the kb on a windsor engine is you can't run an intercooler/aftercooler. and if you're looking to build reliable consistent forced induction power, you should plan on that. but the potential low end bottom torque potential on these kb are hard to beat.

the vortech kit is a breeze to install and tune. i've had mine since 1999 and it has worked trouble free. turbo kit is the way i would go now but without having installed and tuned one yet, i cannot comment on comparison to the vortech/centrifigul supercharger.

Yup Waldo.When all set and done i am not even wasting my time with pulley and ported blower terminators.I'm going after the twin screws
