K-member swap by Vanstrom Performance

Took out the stock K-member tonight.

Here she is:

Weight of Stock K-member and A-arms:

Stock Springs:

Here is the new Chromoly k-member and arms from UPR:

That's a 51lbs saving on the K-member and arms alone.

The coil over springs are only 7 lbs each, so they will be 14lbs vs. 25lbs for the stock ones.

That comes to a 62lbs total saving, plus all the clearence I've gained in the engine bay, and the ride height adjustment I'll have.

I finished the job today and took pics but left my camera at the shop so I will pot them tomorrow.
The Tremec box is a T-56 that is going in the same car behind the 410W.

A k-member and coil overs is fine for a daily driver. I would just use the stock control arms as they are better suited to absorb bad roads and have better bushings. The factory control arm will bolt into most aftermarket k-members.
