k frame help

as some of you already know my buddy just picked up a 82 6cyl notch we just picked up a 73 mach 1 motor do we have to change the k frame or would it drop in?

If I remember right with a v6 youll need to change the k member to a v8 one.

you dont need to change it, you might need to clearance the k member supports for the headers if its an old style k member. Just get the right mounts.

Go with a tublar I have 1 in my car and I love it. So much more room. Plus if you don't have the motor in then now is the time to do it. I did mine with the motor in the car. Used jack stands and an egine hoist.

You sure? Im pretty sure the 4 and 8 use the same one but the v6 is different. Maybe thats just the straight 6 though?

You don't have to change the control arms. But if your going to go with a tubular k-member, Then you might as well go with the control arms as well.
