tint removal is easy, well at least i had an easy time with it. you need ammonia, razor blade and black garbage bags.
i had my windshield tinted and kept getting pulled over so i had to pull it off.
this will work for the windshield or rear window
on a hot sunny day
cut the bag down the sides so it will open up to one piece. spray some water on the out side of the window so the bag will stick to the window. lay the garbage back across the window and trim it to the shape of the window. I then cut it in half so it would be easier to handle. get a spray bottle, i used one of those garden sprayers that you can pump up, they are a few bucks at home depot and fill it will ammonia. go in car, cover up seats and dash or rear deck with plastic to protect it.
Spray the ammonia liberally on the inside of the window and then quickly take the cut up bag and push it up on the inside of the window. the ammonia will hold it to the window. it will be a little of a struggle because the ammonia evaporates until you get it all stuck on so you might have to spray a couple of times to get it. i wound up using some masking tape on the corners just to make it stay up. Now just let it back in the sun for an hour.
then carefully take a razor and use it to peel up an edge. then carefully pull the tint off. i got it all off in one piece!
besides the hour wait while it was baking, it took me maybe 20 minutes
Oh yeah, get a mask because that ammonia will knock you out! that shit burns up your nose if you inhale it
