First off, Transit Center is a Polish company focused on selling new and used Transit Vans, as well as servicing and repairing them. As it turns out, Transit Center is also a big fan of rally racing, and fields a bright orange Ford Focus in competitions across Europe. The Drift Bus is just another part of its marketing strategy, and hey, we’re writing about it despite being on the other side of the planet. So obviously, it’s working.
But what did they do to make it drift so well, and sound so badass? Well we are sorry to report that the engine isn’t American, but rather comes from a BMW M5. The engine has had its horsepower bumped from 400 to 440 ponies, and about 370 ft-lbs of torque. As it turns out, it also has a full Bilstein suspension to help it handle those corners. And true to form, the Drift Bus has seating for four (plus a roll cage) making it great for taking prospective customers and thrill seekers alike for a quick drive. Looks damn fun, don’t it?
