Ford Mustang sales continued to stay steady in 2014 despite the winter weather holding down Ford’s overall numbers. A total of 6,410 Mustangs were sold in February, up 6.4 percent compared to the 6,024 units sold in the same month last year. Overall Mustang sales for 2014 are up 6.8 percent, 10,291 versus 9,362, and it’s the fifth straight month that Mustang sales have been up year-over-year.
Overall Ford Motor Company sales were down in February, four percent retail and six percent overall. The one main exception was the F-Series, which had its best February in eight years. Ford is predicting a big improvement for March, though, with warmer weather on the way.
