exhaust/inspection ?

do you guys think if i picked up a stock h-pipe with cats i could just bolt it on for the inspection.. it would fit and work ?

the previous owner kept the car all stock but swapped the exhaust and put some motorsport headers then a bassani x pipe then mac mufflers ..can i just swap out the x wacha guys think ..

i would say that the stock h probably wont work with the headers.

Ford Motorsport headers and a stock h pipe? Not a problem. Just make sure to put the h pipe on a few days before and drive it around a little and get a few heat cycles into it and you should be fine.

just pay for the inspection its the same money your going to spend on the h-pipe save yourself the hassle

yep thats the way its lookin .. i went to my guy yesterday said his machine is not workin any more .. everyone else is in the bx .. my luck ill end up gettin pulled over on the way there and end up payin double lol guess im on foot patrol for a while ..

I am right next to the whitestone bridge and the shop is 2 mins from the bridge no chance of getting pulled over its highway to highway and two mustangs cruising in the same lane won;t get pulled over unless they are speeding.

We can probably get it done later this morning

You dont need cats. Mine passed just fine. Tech did not even look. 1996 and newer you need cats I think.

u need cats for new models i had to get one installed years ago for my 1990 coupe deville

What you need to do is find a guy that will pass you on a "visual" check. My 94gt hasnt had cats for YEARS, and Ive never had a problem come inspection time. There are plenty of shops around that will take care of it for ya.. Throw em a couple bucks and everyone is happy
