Ecu chipping for foxbodys

i was thinking about getting my Ecu chipped but i wanted to see if it is worth it

Gt40 upper and lower, cold air intake, e-cam,full exhaust, no a/c or smog pump

I would wait until you have some more MODS. I did the ECU chip when i had a decent amount of mods and i did not notice any change!! Buy a set of gears, it will be the best $$ you have ever spent..

i already have 3.73's in the car im about to put a cam in the car and do some head work like upgraded valve spring,push rods, roller rockers

Ohh ok, if you know your going to cam it and so soem head work i would wait until your happy with your mods then worry about chipping it.

well i like an e cam...i got a really good deal on an f-cam so i said fuck it ill throw it in my car lol and hope it works out when i change the heads

Do you guys like the out of the box cams? I have never really had good luck with them. I have a custom ground camshaft innovations cam in my car now and i love it!

Waste of time and $$$ to upgrade to an F303 without at least getting a full port job on the E7 heads or getting some GT40 or GT40P heads.

With ported stock heads the TFS Stage 1 cam works well.

My friend did run fast with his E303 though, 12.2@114 NA and 11.2@125 SC'ed in his 94 GT.

Cam is a waste of $$$ unless you have the heads to go with it. There are guys that have ran low 10's and high 9's with stock cams and SC/Turbo..

But back to the original question...the gain could be good possibly but it depends. Maybe with the cam yes, more timing down low would help out. There are a few different things.
