I have been using them for a couple of years now. Depending how much you drive will determine which brand you want to go with. You can be caught in a little bit of rain. They are not as terrible as people let on. You just have to adjust your speed accordingly.
I run MT 265/40/18 ET SR IIs, car is not a DD, have used them in very light rain/wet roads without issue. They hook well unless the pavement is in the 30s* with about 30psi in them
