Crooked body piece driving me crazy!

The lower body moulding on my GT thats in front of the door is crooked & I notice it on a lot of GT's .Can that be fixed or does that whole piece have to be replaced.It goes all the way,the length of the bottom of the door.It makes my very good looking car.....not so good

You mean it is sagging? It probably need the new brackets that are riveted to the rocker panels, or the rockers could be rusted out so the rivets pulled through...

The piece in front of the doors,its about maybe 6in is crooked.I know for sure nothing rotted out.It just sits crooked.I bet if you look at 99% of the GT's its the same way.Just dont know how to fix it w/o buying a whole new piece.

Replace the brackets under the gorund effects and you will be good
