There is no way for any one here to answer that question. You need to hook a scaner to the car and see what codes come up. From there we might have a chance to help you.

We're going to need more information to properly diagnose it. What you need to do is go to your local Advance Auto, AutoZone or auto place that can hook up your car to a scan tool. They will scan your cars computer to see what why the light is on. When they give you the # that the scan tool spits out, come back and tell us what it is.

still go to autozone and get it checked, the diagnosis is free, it could be an underlying problem,

That does not mean that it "fixed it self", for all you know the bulb could of just burned out. Go to Advance and run the scanner.
