Guess I should have specified in my post that I already have the room booked so I too am going either way. It may be in my truck or it could be with the car. Truck will be boring but I will have more room for crap I buy which may be a bad thing with the wife.

I was hoping for a window in the rain to get there Friday morning so I don't spend the entire showing cleaning the car back off the next three days. I by no means have a trailer queen/show car but I cant very well let it sit there looking nasty. If it poured once I got there that's fine too, just not looking forward to 5 hours of rain/road grime.

Just got the car last year so this would be the first big trip over an hours drive. I spent a ton of time cleaning it and wouldn't look forward to doing it again. I just wish the rain would **** or get off the pot for the whole weekend. Do some of you guys go through the same thing mentally or is this just me?

Can't wait. There is a ton to do in the area even if we don't want to be on the fair grounds. And as Dawn said there is thankfully the tent to hang out in. But I ain't going Muddin' my PA passport ain't that valid.

I am going no matter what. My car will not melt if it gets rained on. Always something to do, and the vendors are still open.
Hell, the hotel has a club and a bar right there. How often do some of you get a weekend away?

Most likey wont be at carlisle this weekend wife went to hospital and was told that our little girl thats due to come july 17 will be here this weekend or early next week as a premuture baby please say some prays that she will be ok :(

ITS NOT going to pour rain all day and all night.
so what if there is a little sprinkle shower or a little rain.
better than 105 degrees .... and maybe even better discounted products.
for me...its about the boys getting together and having fun.

Doc called says we can travel this weekend that the tests she ran are ok that shes gonna keep a eye on us so when we wake up saturday if we free up to it we will head down to carlisle

We have a nice new banner for the hotel balcony. Thank you to Waldo (maximum risk). And another for the nym tent at the fairgrounds.
I will send it with my sister (Roush 23). I ask that some of the gentlemen please help with the setup. There will be zip ties to secure it to the balcony.
