Looking at the Boss 302's exhaust system, it appears that cutout pipes can be put into the GT by mimicking the BOSS 302 cutouts. My plan is to:
1. Weld cutouts into each side of the GT's "H" pipe;
2. Make new pipes that follow the routing of the Boss 302 pipes with exits just in front of the rear wheels like in the Boss 302. Each of the side pipes will include a flex section adapted from an existing front wheel drive car such as the Toyota Camry;
4. Install a 2-bolt flange and a cover plate at each pipe end reminiscent of an old school "Lakes Pipe."
Unlike the Boss 302, this setup will enable manually opening the cutouts without getting under the car. I did consider electric valves, but they are cost prohibitive!
