blue smoke?

im blowing blue smoke but only after the car warms up WHEN im beating the shit out of it only what could this be? collpased ring?

Time for a freshen. Unless your PCV valve or screen is plugged. It still shouldn't smoke too bad with that though.

Rings usually smoke bad when the car is cold and a little less as it warms up. If the car is smoking after it warms up it is usually the valveguides/seals. Easy test: run the car hard in second gear then back off the throttle. Big blue cloud? Check the guides and seals. HTH

ok so i was sitting at a light a couple of guys were walking by and said let me hear it meaning the car so i reved it a big cloud of smoke blew out i did it again and again afterwards and no smoke this is really buggin me

Pull your pvc line and look for oil inside. If it is clean then it is time for valvestem seals.

No not really, but you do have to remove the valvesprings. I can walk you through it if you need. Arent you upgrading your heads anyway?

In that case then dont bother with the ones your running now. Its not worth going through the effort of changing valvestem seals if your gonna swap out the heads anyway.

have you done a compression test on the motor ..if not i would before putting money into it

stock heads? more then likely valve seals, especially if that has sat for a long time with no drive time or the pcv valve would be my 2nd guess.

You can rent them usually. Advanced Auto offers a service where you put a payment down on the tools, use them, and you get your money back when you return them. Or, just ask a few buddies. A compression test is worth its weight in gold if you plan on doing anything with it down the line, and will let you know where you stand.

Doing a compression test is a good idea so you know where you stand. Just make sure you do it when the motor is warm. A compression test will not find a bad oil ring however.
